Storm Above the Reich

A small Luftwaffe staffel of Fw 190 fighters scrambles to intercept daylight bomber formations over Germany in World War II. The player controls individual aircraft represented by stickered blocks, maneuvering through pursuit and formation maps to engage B-24 combat boxes. Missions play as linked scenarios that trace the shifting air war from 1942–1945, and multiple missions form a campaign that tracks squadron persistence and attrition. The game uses broad-strokes, solitaire wargame mechanics compatible with a related title, allowing component and staffel combinations for expanded play.
