Akropolis: Athena

Players are architects in the Ancient Mediterranean competing to build prestigious cities and earn the favor of Athena. Players complete Construction cards by arranging building tiles in specific layouts within their city grids, acquiring Statue of Athena parts and Mini-tiles as rewards. The expansion layers these objectives onto the base game: each Construction card can be completed once per player, requiring careful tile placement and resource management to maximize points and benefits. The game ends when the Construction Site is nearly depleted; final scoring follows the base rules with additional points for completed Statue of Athena parts and Stone scoring, adding new strategic choices during city-building.
