Ancient Realm

Lead a fledgling society through resource management and spatial placement to build a lasting civilization. Each turn, choose one of four available cards—districts or wonders—and place it in the realm. Cards can be placed adjacent to, overlapping, or covering existing cards, and covered blocks trigger their activation effects. Manage gold and other resources produced by mines and production sites, employ citizens with different abilities, and decide when to invest in costly wonders that grant powerful effects but cannot be covered. Districts also carry event cards on their backs; the top district event is active each round. Score wonders, mines, and remaining resources at game end to determine final standing.
