Asia Engulfed

Play as the major belligerents in the Asia-Pacific campaign from Pearl Harbor to Japan’s surrender, commanding land, naval and air forces across a theater-scale map. Wood block units provide fog of war for both land and sea; players maneuver hidden carriers and surface fleets, conduct naval reaction moves, and resolve carrier-versus-surface day/night combat. Air units influence movement and supply via an area-based system that tracks carrier air and land-based air separately. A supply and oil model constrains long-range Japanese operations, while production and strategic phases (two-month turns) let players build ships, aircraft, ground forces and special actions such as code-breaking or emergency rebasing. Optional rules and combined-game integration with the European theater expand scope and replayability.
