The expansion adds a playable avatar modeled on the genius inventor, a new enemy for the Inquisition module, an epic cooperative mission in the Renaissance setting that pairs heroes with the inventor, an avatar option for the breach-style scenario, and a boss battle encounter for the requiem campaign.
