Cellulose: A Plant Cell Biology Game

Players take on roles inside a plant cell and compete for limited resources to carry out photosynthesis, synthesize carbohydrates, and assemble the cell wall. The game uses worker placement and engine-building mechanics: players assign proteins and hormones to action spaces, play cell component cards to unlock abilities, and manage resource flows to power production chains. With shared actions and contested spaces, timing and route selection determine efficiency and scoring. Components and systems expand control over resource availability and pacing, supporting 1–5 players and variable game length and strategies.
