Chechen War: 1994 - 1996

An operational-strategic simulation of the First Chechen War from 1994 to 1996. Two players represent the Russian Federation and the Chechen independence movement across nine turns covering the conflict. Russian forces must manage low morale while seeking to retain Chechnya, while the outnumbered Chechen side uses guerrilla warfare to disrupt the campaign and pursue independence. The map covers Chechnya and surrounding areas, including Georgia, Ingushetia, and Dagestan.
