Colt Express: The Santa Claus Elf

A small promo add-on introduces an Elf standee and hidden Gift/Empty tokens to integrate with the base game and its Horses & Stagecoach and Marshal & Prisoners expansions. Place the Elf in the third wagon from the back and deal each bandit a facedown token (half Gift, half Empty, with empties chosen when odd). The Elf follows a bandit only when that bandit moves by Change Floor or Move actions, including Ride with the Horses expansion, but it ignores punches, Django shots, Marshal encounters, end-of-round moves and prison moves. The Elf cannot be targeted and may share spaces with the Marshal or Shotgun as permitted. At game end all tokens are revealed and the winner is determined by the Elf’s final position: bandits holding Gift tokens win if the Elf is on or next to the Locomotive; bandits holding Empty tokens win if the Elf is two or more cars away. Players with the opposite token type are eliminated from winning.
