Defeat enemies in the haunted ruins of a once-golden city or risk dying...repeatedly. Players work together as Heralds, Pyromancers, and Warriors, exploring dangerous locations, learning enemy attack patterns, and preparing for a brutal battle against Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough. If a character dies, the party returns to the bonfire and encounters reset, making every failure costly.
