A detailed simulation of the North African campaign from the Italian invasion of Egypt in 1940 through the Allied clearance of Africa in 1943. The game uses a map scale of 10 miles per hex and monthly turns, with units representing regiments, brigades, specialist battalions, and selected divisions. Players conduct two move-and-fight impulses per turn, while managing initiative, air and naval power, logistics, and events affecting other Middle Eastern campaigns. Reinforcements and withdrawals are influenced by off-map developments, including Greece and East Africa. Fast-moving operations alternate with quieter periods of buildup as both sides assemble forces and supplies across the desert.
