Survive a WWII-era zombie outbreak in a secret underground Nazi research complex. Players control a small allied strike team of specialists who must rescue an embedded spy, a scientist and a resistance cell, then fight their way out through labyrinthine chambers beneath a fortress. The game plays as a linked solo or cooperative campaign of tactical combat and narrative choices. Scenarios present branching paths and persistent consequences; outcomes, casualties and gathered resources carry over to later missions. Players manage limited supplies, choose between stealth or direct confrontation, and adapt tactics to exploit zombie weaknesses as the campaign progresses.
