Freedom!

A card-driven siege game recreating a historical contest between besieged freedom fighters and invading imperial forces. Play unfolds on two maps: one of the city under siege and one of the surrounding countryside that supplies support to each side. Players act asymmetrically—invaders try to breach the walls or break civilian morale, while defenders seek to hold out until the attackers abandon the siege or their morale collapses. Card play represents period events and personalities that shape available actions, while dice resolve combat and assaults, blending tactical planning with chance.
