A card-driven block wargame that recreates the 1797 night battle for Santa Cruz de Tenerife. One player commands British amphibious forces attempting landings and assaults; the other directs Spanish defenders manning coastal batteries, forts and urban positions. Play emphasizes naval movement, coastal artillery fire and close-quarters night fighting as blocks represent unit strength and losses. Cards drive events and activations, producing tense, see-saw skirmishes as the Spanish try to contain landings and protect key fortifications while the British press superior numbers into the city.
