Freelancers: A Crossroads Game

Players take on the roles of freelance scavengers in a ruined, post-human world where jobs come from a broken gig economy. Each player builds a character by choosing a species and profession, then tackles missions that send them into ruins, wilds, and monster-haunted sites to recover loot and complete objectives. Play proceeds through app-driven, voiced scenarios with branching paths; no dedicated game master is required. Resolution uses custom dice and simple rules meant for a single-session experience, and multiple short campaigns offer high replayability as players mix abilities, gear, and story branches.
