Gnomopolis

Players lead a community of underground dwellers sent to found a new capital in a vast mountain hall. Each turn, players draw gnome meeples from a cup and assign them to build structures, specialize workers, hire additional gnomes, earn coins, assemble mechanical golems, or manage district labor. Buildings provide worker slots and action synergies, and immigration expands the workforce as the city grows. Scoring combines coins and workers placed in buildings, with penalties for unemployed gnomes. The game supports one to four players and plays in about 45 minutes, emphasizing strategic engine-building and tactical use of limited meeples.
