La Habana

Players rebuild a Caribbean city by acquiring building tiles from two rows on the table, paying costs in money, workers and materials to claim tiles that score victory points. Only tiles on the left and right edges of each row are available, so timing and selection shape access to higher-value buildings. Each player uses an identical 13-card deck but plays only two cards per round; the numerical combination of those cards determines turn order and resolves role actions. Roles grant income, resources, stealing or defense, and some actions require an architect or interact with other players’ choices. The game focuses on card selection, timing, and interrupting or defending against opponents while assembling buildings for points.
