Hornet Leader: Carrier Air Operations

Solitaire carrier aviation wargame that puts the player in command of a U.S. Navy strike squadron across multiple historical and hypothetical campaigns from 1983 to the present. Players plan missions, choose loadouts from historically accurate aircraft and weapons, assign pilots rated by skill, and manage pilot fatigue and experience as sorties accumulate. Gameplay emphasizes mission planning, pilot rotation, and matching aircraft and armament to mission objectives within campaign scenarios such as Libya, North Atlantic WWIII, Iraq, Taiwan, and Iran. Mechanics update and unify systems and weapon values from earlier series entries to reflect consistent, modernized rules.
