Massive Darkness: A Quest of Crystal & Lava

Players explore a dormant volcano whose crystalline caverns and lava tubes have become infested by hostile creatures. The boxed campaign presents six linked quests that guide a party through progressively challenging scenarios, using modular double-sided tiles to assemble varied underground maps. Gameplay centers on cooperative dungeon crawling: characters move, fight monsters, gain loot and experience, and complete scenario objectives while managing limited resources and tactical positioning. Components integrate with other Massive Darkness sets for expanded layouts and enemy variety.
