Massive Darkness

Players take on heroic characters exploring a dark, monster-filled dungeon in a cooperative campaign. Each player selects a hero and a class, customizes skills with XP, and develops a build that evolves over successive quests. Combat and enemy behavior are handled by the game system rather than a game master; monsters spawn in varying roles (minions, agents, roaming monsters, bosses) and can occasionally appear as Guardians that wield equipment which can be recovered as loot when defeated. Play focuses on combat, searching for treasure, stealthing through dark areas, and tactical use of skills and items as the party advances through scenarios.
