Panzer Grenadier: Desert Rats

A tactical World War II squad-and-platoon level wargame covering North Africa (primarily Nov 1941–May 1942) with additional scenarios for East Africa/Somalia. Players command national forces such as British, German, Indian, Italian, Italian Colonial and New Zealand units across desert and related terrain. Play uses two large maps and hundreds of unit counters; turns begin with an initiative determination and alternate action segments so both players stay engaged. Scenarios recreate historical encounters at small unit scale and support two-player or solitaire play.
