Parcel o' Rogues

A political influence game set during the struggle over the 1707 Act of Union, when England and Scotland shared a monarch but maintained separate governments and laws. Players place influence cubes among the personalities and institutions that can support the Union or provide resources for a Jacobite rebellion. Action cards determine how many cubes can be placed and which locations can receive them, while some cards remove opponents’ influence. Season cards trigger events and advance the game toward two scoring rounds: the first determines influence over the Union, and the second resolves the subsequent rebellion using different criteria. The included module uses the final board position to set up a related Jacobite scenario.
