In 2060, magic and advanced technology shape a world dominated by powerful corporations. Players take the roles of shadowrunners—street operatives who work in the shadows as combat specialists, hackers, vehicle riggers, or spellcasters. Characters may be human, elf, dwarf, or troll, combining cybernetic enhancements, weapons, vehicles, magic, and computer programs to complete dangerous jobs. This roleplaying rulebook contains the core rules for creating characters and running adventures in the Shadowrun setting, with revised and expanded systems compatible with earlier material.
