The Battle for Ramadi

A solitaire game depicting the final seven days of the Iraqi assault to retake Ramadi. Players command Iraqi Security Forces, combining elite counter-terrorism troops with army, police, and militia units while calling on Coalition air support and special forces. The objective is to capture the Government Complex and secure a political victory, while ultimately liberating the city. Players plan movements and strikes through a dangerous urban battlefield containing IEDs, enemy fighters, and civilians, managing casualties and responding to unpredictable counterattacks that can threaten victory until the final turn.
