The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Players cooperate as a fellowship of heroes and build decks of allies, events and attachments to tackle scenario-based adventures in Tolkien’s Middle-earth. Each round players assign heroes and allies to quest, engage enemies, defend, or attack, then manage limited resources and exhausted cards to balance making quest progress against dealing with mounting threats. The game supports preconstructed and custom decks and offers standalone scenarios or linked campaigns with persistent consequences; expansions add new scenarios, heroes and player cards to extend play and variety.
