A Ghastly Companion to Castles, Mansions, & Estates

A historical and roleplaying reference for adventures set in the grand houses of Georgian, French Revolutionary, Napoleonic, and Regency-era Europe. It covers castles, mansions, estates, servants, aristocratic titles, coaching inns, feasts, social events, family histories, and the daily life of an 18th-century household. More than 100 tables help generate houses, inhabitants, gardens, scandals, paintings, technological curiosities, encounters, ghosts, ruins, caves, and crypts. Guidance is included for running an open-ended Gothic setting without a predetermined plot. This pre-release ashcan edition contains the full text but omits the illustrations, maps, floor plans, and indices planned for the complete release.
