A Ghastly Companion to Gothic Icons
This macabre roleplaying supplement brings figures from Gothic literature, history, and folklore into play, including vampires, revenants, devils, monsters, Frankenstein’s Creature, and characters such as Heathcliff, Deacon Brodie, and the Marquis de Sade. It also includes OSR-compatible creature statistics, rules for generating villages with strange inhabitants and dark secrets, and tables for creating baroque 18th-century Gothic Romance titles. A conversion guide explains how to adapt the creatures for use with other OSR systems.
