A Lion in the Ropes (d20)

A moody murder-mystery adventure for 4–8 characters of levels 2–4. Players travel between locations to investigate the killings and mutilations of a church deacon and fourteen villagers, gathering clues and questioning possible suspects, including gypsies, monks, and the dreaded Charon Fiend. The scenario provides a structured tale with opportunities for roleplaying throughout.
