Absinthe in Carcosa

A full-color city guide for late-19th-century Paris in a reality warped by occult influence and the play The King in Yellow. It details neighborhoods, attractions, cafés, cabarets, museums, police and prisons, funeral customs, the catacombs, everyday life, and recent history, with maps and practical information. Marginal notes from an increasingly disturbed compiler point investigators toward allies, sources of madness, and other unsettling mysteries.
