Airborne Assault: Crete – May, 1941

A grand-tactical level game of the historical WWII German airborne invasion of Crete in May 1941, with an additional hypothetical scenario covering an invasion of Cyprus. Players command German airborne and follow-up forces or the Allied defenders, managing maneuver, combined arms, air support, bombardment, airborne assaults, and sea invasions. The defender must balance the placement of defensive forces with the timing of an evacuation. Units represent companies and battalions, with turns covering three days and scenarios lasting three to nine hours.
