Alternate Attributes

This supplement examines how to redesign the basic attributes and secondary characteristics in GURPS to better suit a campaign’s genre and play style. It covers changing point costs and progressions, revising or removing formulas, adding or splitting attributes, establishing new limits and baselines, and adapting advantages, disadvantages, skills, point budgets, and other rules to match. Guidance is included for naming and integrating new traits while avoiding gaps or inconsistencies in the character system.
