Investigators descend into hidden caverns and confront a subterranean city inhabited by alien beings. Play unfolds through scenario cards and encounter decks that present exploration, social interactions with nonhuman inhabitants, and escalating investigative challenges. A new scenario mechanic introduces an out-of-body element that changes how investigators interact with the locations and encounters. The pack also adds player cards for deck customization, letting investigators adapt tactics and resources for the threats and moral dilemmas discovered beneath the earth.
