Play unfolds as a scenario-based investigation in which players move through interconnected locations representing surface streets and subterranean tunnels, searching for a key stranger and clues about the play’s influence. Locations appear and shift as the group explores, creating a dynamic, branching map that changes with each step. Players manage actions, encounter hazards, and resolve skill tests while the labyrinth rearranges itself, forcing difficult choices about how far to press before becoming lost or drawn into increasingly dangerous, otherworldly chambers.
