In a world divided among the Air Nomads, Water Tribes, Fire Nation, and Earth Kingdom, skilled Benders use martial arts and their connection to an element to shape it. One individual, the Avatar, can control all four elements and is responsible for maintaining balance between the peoples. The Avatar reincarnates through the four nations, learning each life’s native element before mastering the others. The game draws on this cycle and the continuing struggle to preserve harmony among the four nations.
