Battles of Napoleon: The Eagle and the Lion

A tactical wargame that recreates Napoleonic-era combat at the company and brigade scale using 1/72 miniatures and modular board tiles. Players deploy and maneuver formations, manage formation changes, and coordinate infantry, cavalry and artillery to achieve scenario objectives. Rules cover movement, combat resolution, morale and combined-arms interaction with a medium level of complexity aimed at simulating period tactics while remaining accessible to new players. Components include unpainted figures, terrain elements, cards, dice and scenario booklets; multiple sets can be combined to field larger battles.

Seems like some neat ideas and a realistic formation/chain of command rendering. Shame the rules are embarrassingly laid out and worse they miss many edge cases clarifications. The worst offenders are probably the cards, too swingy and powerful at times, they don't fit well with the rest of the game.
