In 3132, the collapse of most hyperpulse generators cuts off communication across the Inner Sphere, leaving worlds isolated and old rivalries ready to ignite. The Republic of the Sphere faces hostile neighbors as a new Dark Age begins. This setting guide surveys the major factions active during the Dark Age era, along with notable personalities, military forces, and contemporary technology. It also includes advanced campaign rules for games using either the Total Warfare or A Time of War rules.
