Behold H'Catha

Tasked with retrieving a meteorite from the planet H’Catha, the characters and their fellow Spelljammer Academy cadets board a derelict tyrant ship, a stone vessel built by beholders. After installing a spelljamming helm, a fire kills their supervisor, Petty Officer Ryeback. An investigation identifies Cadet Miken Haverstance as the saboteur. His interrogation reveals that he was hired by a mercane with a grudge against Spelljammer Academy founder Mirt the Merciless, though the mercane’s identity remains unknown.
