Bitter Crusade

This chronicle follows the Fourth Crusade from 1197 to 1204, as knights gather in response to the pope’s call for war against the Saracen. In Venice, Cainites and mortals pursue competing ambitions, steering the crusade toward Zara and Constantinople rather than the Holy Land. Across three linked stories, the player coterie becomes involved in the political and supernatural forces that turn a holy war into conflict between Christians. The chronicle provides material for Venice and Constantinople and brings a Dark Ages campaign into the events that end the Long Night.
