Bloody Red Flag

An advanced and supplemental rules set for a late-sail-era naval wargame, designed to model tactical combat with greater detail and complexity. It replaces the standard six-point hex movement system with a 12-point system, allowing ships to turn 30 degrees toward hex corners. Additional rules cover collisions, line of sight, firing arcs and range, rakes, marine fire, drifting, anchoring, smoke, and the effects of land terrain. Optional rules introduce impulse movement, towing, tacking, signaling, and pre-1794 signaling limitations, including a dedicated signal book for earlier scenarios.
