Building the Shadows: A Film Noir Mission Generator
A film noir mission generator for roleplaying games, using six-sided dice and tables to create jobs for detectives, criminals, and other hardboiled characters. The tables combine locations, objectives, complications, and other details to produce more than 90,000 possible missions. Designed for noir games but adaptable to other genres, it establishes the job while the players determine how events unfold.
