B/X Ascending

A rules supplement for B/X-style fantasy roleplaying that unifies play around a roll-high d20 mechanic based on classic saving throws. It updates the existing classes while retaining race-as-class, and adds paladins, monks, rangers, illusionists, and druids. Ascending Armor Class and attack bonuses replace descending values, while trained and untrained skills are handled as saving throws. Class, race, and skill abilities use fixed target numbers rather than referee-set difficulty classes.
