B/X RPG

A tabletop fantasy roleplaying game compatible with the 1981 edition of Basic and Expert Dungeons & Dragons. Players create adventurers from a range of character classes, equip them with weapons and magic items, and use spells and abilities to explore dangerous locations and face monsters. One player acts as Dungeon Master, describing the world, controlling its inhabitants, and adjudicating the rules. The rules are presented in separate Player and Dungeon Master books, with expanded classes, spells, monsters, and treasure.
