Carcassonne: Expansion 8 – Bridges, Castles and Bazaars

Players add bridges to extend roads across field tiles, letting otherwise separated segments connect and score as continuous roads. Castle tokens can be placed on two-segment cities; they trigger a special cash-in opportunity when an adjacent feature is completed. Bazaar tiles introduce auctions, letting players bid tiles for points instead of placing them normally. The expansion integrates these three mechanics into the base tile-laying gameplay, offering new options for tile placement, scoring, and interaction with opponents.
