A historical scenario and campaign book covering the air and naval battles around Guadalcanal from early to late October 1942. It includes three mini-campaigns and ten scenarios featuring Japanese reinforcement efforts, attacks on shipping, floatplane defenses, and USAAF, US Navy, and Cactus Air Force operations. The book provides historical background, a campaign map, aircraft statistics for 11 Allied and Japanese aircraft, aircraft notes, photographs, and information on notable pilots. Its special event campaign system gives each side scenario-specific objectives that can generate campaign events, allowing decisions during one battle to affect later actions.
