Clash of Giants: Civil War

This two-player historical wargame covers the battles of Second Bull Run and Gettysburg during the American Civil War. Players command mostly brigade-level infantry formations across detailed maps of hills, woods, roads, rivers, towns, and other terrain. Formations activate through random chit draws, with variable movement allowances creating uncertainty and delays. Combat uses unit efficiency ratings based on morale, training, leadership, and experience, while artillery is represented by randomly available combat support markers rather than separate units. Players maneuver to seize and hold objectives, exit units, and inflict casualties, while managing reinforcements, reserves, cavalry actions, and changing battlefield conditions.
