Companion System

A rules supplement for managing NPC companions in tabletop adventures without adding extra complexity to combat. Companions remain relevant through an abstract system that keeps the player characters at the center of play, while reducing the need to track full character sheets and actions for every accompanying NPC. The rules can be added to new or ongoing adventures and include optional guidelines for handling mounts, familiars, and ranger beasts as companions. Generic, spoiler-free companion options are included for use across different campaigns.
