The fifth issue of an independent journal for the Advanced Squad Leader hobby includes articles on scenario design, historical battles, and play-related topics. It features twelve scenarios covering conflicts from the First World War era through the Second World War and the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Actions include British paratroopers defending a hotel during Market Garden, French cavalry and tanks attacking German anti-tank guns in 1940, armored clashes at Kursk, and infantry assaults on Japanese cave positions at Okinawa and Attu.
