Crunch: The Game for Utter Bankers

Players take the role of global bank CEOs managing fragile institutions while enriching themselves. Each player maintains a bank with Assets, a small workforce, and Trust cards that can double as potential Government Bailouts. Workers deploy Assets as loans into low- or high-risk debt markets to generate returns, while Trust cards are spent to request emergency cash injections. Periodically players pay themselves Bonuses and may Embezzle Assets into a personal fortune, risking loss of Trust if discovered. When the Crunch arrives, players must reconcile outstanding loans against bank Assets or rely on Bailouts; the winner is the best-positioned personal portfolio, even if a bank collapses first.
