Curse

This storytelling supplement focuses on curse narratives in which an antagonist believes the protagonist has done something wrong and transforms them as an act of justice. The change can result from magic, experimentation, genetic manipulation, poison, radiation, or other genre-appropriate causes. It may provide advantages alongside serious drawbacks, leaving the protagonist alienated and seeking a way to reverse its effects. Examples include Beauty and the Beast, District 9, The Fly, The Metamorphosis, Pinocchio, Thinner, and The Wolfman.
