D20 Unchained

A rules module for d20 roleplaying games that removes classes and levels from player characters. Characters develop by selecting skills and abilities, without tracking experience or planning multiclass combinations, while retaining most of the existing rules system. Changes are limited to the player side of the table, so current rulebooks, monsters, and adventures require little or no modification. Starting characters may be sturdier depending on their chosen skills, but typically have fewer skills overall.
