An alternate 1976 serves as the setting for a darkly satirical d20 Modern campaign. Environmental collapse, dwindling oil reserves, UFOs, forest monsters, prehistoric lake creatures, and hidden powers push the world toward an expected apocalypse in 1979. Players take on roles such as truckers, disco icons, radicals, gurus, and survivalists while confronting aliens, demons, killer bees, and rogue computers.
